Baker Clint Akins created the Dolly-themed cookies after Parton visited his school as a child and made sure he, a deaf student, could take part in the reading.
A Brentwood bakery's sparkly Dolly Parton cookies are selling out daily — and the man behind them has a deeply personal reason for wanting to give back.
The Puffy Muffin has already sold more than 7,500 Dolly-themed cookies, with profits benefiting Dolly Parton's Imagination Library.
